What We’re Learning:

Math-We will continue Addition to 20. Please make sure your child is practicing math facts to 20 nightly.

Reading- We will continue learning about the features of Non-fiction text: Headings, Glossary, Table of Contents, Captions, etc.

Writing-Students will write their first teaching book this week as part of our Information Writing Unit. They will include a Table of Contents to tie into our Non-Fiction unit as well.

Phonics: C vs. K Rule: “Curvy C and Straight K“

Content- We will wrap up our unit on Light and Shadows

S.T.E.A.M. We will research the features of fall gardens in preparation for our planting.
