What We’re Learning:

Math– We will learn about place value for the numbers 11-19. Students will compose and decompose numbers while recognizing the tens and ones.

Reading- This week we will delve in the characters and settings of the books we read and why these story elements are important to our reading comprehension.

Writing-We “published” our very first narratives this week. As we write our new narratives this week, we will focus on adding more detail sentences to answer the questions, Who? What? Why? and How?

Phonics: We will focus on the –ap and -am families.

Content-We continue learning about the names of our continent, country, state, and city. There will be an assessment on Friday. Students did a great job memorizing their address this week.

Have a wonderful week!
