Reminders:

• We will be going to the Atlanta Zoo on Tuesday, April 9th. Permission slips/lunch forms are going home on Monday! Please fill out BOTH sides.
• The Spring Book Fair is this week! Students are welcome to bring in money and shop before the bell.

What We’re Learning:

Math– We will use our skills of Adding within 100 to solve word problems.

Reading- We will continue our Vocabulary unit. Students will learn how to use context clues to help us learn the meaning of new words.

Writing-We will continue our Opinion Writing unit. We will focus upon our opening sentence, our 3 supporting reasons and our concluding sentence.

Phonics: We will learn about the y at the end of a word making the Long I or E sound as in family and July.

Science: We will continue our unit on the Wild World of Animals! We will start focusing this week on the different animal habitats.
