I decided not to give the kids any work today. JUST kidding! Happy April Fool’s Day!
Math:
- Go to Seesaw and complete the, “3-D Shapes: Composing Shapes: 4/1.”
- Have your child practice his/her Math Fact Fluency for 10 minutes using flashcards, Moby Max Fact Fluency, App: Sushi Monster, App: Math Drills, or Math Magician Addition https://coolsciencelab.com/math_magic.html
- Moby Max Subtraction Problems This Week: I have assigned Subtraction Math Problems this week in Moby Max. Students should be able to complete these assignments independently! There are several, so your child can do 1 or 2 a day. Please try to make sure these are all completed by the end of the week!
Reading
- Go to Seesaw: Complete “ Reading Response: The Garden”I have attached lined paper to use as well.
- Read for 30 minutes. Remember to set a timer and read aloud to someone, if possible.
- Extension: Connections: Write 3 sentences about the connections you can make while reading this week. What are some connections you made while reading this week? What did your reading make you think of? Did it remind you of anything similar or different in your life, the world, and/or other books you’ve read? Take a picture and attach this to your journal. Writing about what you have read helps with comprehension!
Phonics:
- Go to Seesaw and complete: “Phonics: /oo/ as in foot and moon”
Content:
- Go to Seesaw: Complete: “The Needs of a Plant.”
Creativity:
- Today is April Fool’s Day! What does that mean? Go to Seesaw and complete the “Optional April Fool’s Day” activity to learn about its history as well as think of your own creative trick!
